CANDIDATE'S FORTY PERCENT AFFIDAVIT NADC Form CFLA-7

A Candidate's Forty percent Expenditure Affidavit must be filed by a Non-Abiding CFLA Candidate when forty percent of the Candidate's maximum estimated expenditures for the primary or the general election period has been spent. A Candidate's Forty Percent Expenditure Affidavit must be filed must be filed no later than 2 days after forty percent of the Candidate's estimated maximum expenditures for the Primary or General Election has been spent. A candidate who is required to file a Candidate's Forty Percent Expenditure Affidavit, and fails to file the Affidavit, is subject to criminal prosecution. No filing is required if the candidate's estimate of expenditures does not exceed the spending limit.
